His companions, also soldiers or converts, followed him in truth and together they chose death rather than deny their Lord.📖 About Their LivesGetulius was married to Saint Symphorosa and had seven children all later martyred for the faith. He and his friends were arrested, tortured, and finally beheaded for refusing to worship Roman gods. Their blood became the seed of faith in the region.
